Cards are back in the air after the 15-minute break and the entry count jumped over 400 while they were gone. There’s a long way to go but it’s looking like the $1,000,000 guarantee is a lock.
There were no massive stacks found during the break, and no one ramped up over 100K, but there were a couple of notables. Norman Guigui leads the field with 81,400 from his 20K starting stack followed by Luis Tobo with 79,600.
Tournament action isn’t the only way to win big today. In addition to the RRPO event happening in the Grand Ballroom, we are running a big promotion in the Poker Room from 2 pm through midnight, with more than $30,000 in prizes going to random players in our cash games.

The Seniors Event is wasting no time creating a big field early in the morning with 80 already in the game and hours to go to build it bigger. Some early faces include Jeff Kessler, Thomas Gari, and Nancy Thomas, Jacqueline Scott.
Kessler is a former champ of this tournament, he won the RRPO Seniors Event in 2013 in the old Seminole Paradise Poker Room.

The Seniors Event is such a popular game on any schedule that we went ahead and planned two for this series starting with the first at 11 am in the Grand Ballroom. Event 2 is a $600 Seniors Event open to anyone 50 years and older.
Players start with 20,000 deep stacks and all levels last 30 minutes. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. They have a 40-minute dinner break at 5:30 pm and return to play down to the first RRPO trophy of the series.

It’s still a little early for a lot of players but we have a very nice turnout for a Wednesday morning. They nearly doubled the entry number from the start of the day and registration will remain open until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm.
Early entrants include Hector Pacheco, Luis Dominguez, Pavel Ivan, Ken Bruno, Stuart Greenbaum, and the Piderit father/son duo Eric and Caleb.

The wait is over and cards are in the air for the 2022 Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open with action underway in Event 1. Flight A has 121 entries in the game at the start and we expect a huge field by the time registration closes late Saturday evening.
They will play through the first four 30-minute levels before taking a break.

The 2022 Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker is ready to get underway in the Grand Ballroom at 10 am this morning. Kicking things off with a huge opener, Event 1 has a $400 buy-in, a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, and eight starting flights between now and Saturday.
Players sit down to 20,000 starting stack, and all Day 1 levels last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 minutes at the start of Day 2. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30 pm.
All flights will play down to the last 10% of their field, and those who survive will return on Sunday for Day 2 in the money.
