The SHRPO Championship entry count clicked over 700 and they are nearing a $3.5 million prize pool only a few levels into the day. Players will work their way through Level 4 before taking another break and we’ll return with our first live-stream feature table.

A few new friends we found include Johnny Bromberg, Mike Leah, Brandon Schwartz, Willie Wiggins (winner of last night’s bounty event), and Rafael Reis.

Leah’s biggest live tournament score came in this event when he finished second in the 2014 SHRPO Championship for $1,047,638.

With a few minutes remaining before the first break, the entry count hit 188 for Flight B to put the combined total at 619 for the SHRPO Championship. That is good enough to push the prize pool over the $3,000,000 guarantee and it will continue to climb until we close registration at 9:15 pm.

The entry count quickly climbed up toward hitting the $3,000,000 guarantee, and they’ll get there before the first break, then spin it up. We will top last year’s numbers; the question now is how much bigger.

Some early friends in action include Brian Scott, Wagner Wysotchanski, Michael Newman, Caleb Piderit, Scott Levitt, Art Boatman, David Shmuel, A.J. Kelsall, Michael Wang, and Mica Lamar.

Shmuel captured the $600 Limit Omaha 8 title a few days ago, his 12th career major SHRP trophy, and the win catapulted him to the top of the $10,000 Mixed Game Leaderboard.
