A quick walk through the tournament field has revealed a decent amount of familiar faces in the field for this final starting flight in Event 1. Among them are Nancy Birnbaum, Corey Burbick, Jamie Gold, Danny Suied, Angel Vu, Harrison Gimbel, David Diaz, Marsha Wolak, Nancy Todd, and Eddy Mroczkowski.

Flight 1F has a long way to go to catch the field size of 1E but they are trying. Just shy of 400 entries going into Level 2 including 2006 WSOP Main Event champion Jamie Gold. Marsha Wolak, Nancy Birnbaum, and Angel are also back for their final shot at making Day 2.

Syed “Sean” Shah holds one of the largest chip stacks at the end of Flight 1E in Event 1 ($350 NLHE) at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open. As you can see above he is bagging up a lot of chips. His stack of 470,000 is near the top for this flight. His stack is just behind that of the Day 1E overall chip leader Mark Spies. He bagged up 494,000 and wins the $500 award for holding the largest stack.

The final flight of Event 1 is underway in the ballroom with them adding to the 2,266 players who have already joined the tournament. They are competing for space with the remaining players in the 1E and the room is buzzing on a Saturday night.

They are starting off with 20,000 stacks, 30-minutes levels, and will continue through Level 15 before wrapping up.
