Joe Gale was a more recent winner, he was crowned champ in the big-field $150 buyin/$150,000 Guarantee Event 5 at the beginning of the week. Gale navigated the 2,022 player field to take home more than $35,000.

Event 10 Day 1E: Can We Get There?

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Flight 1E currently has 714 entrants showing on the tournament board to make it the biggest flight of the year.

The biggest single flight in this tournament came two years ago when 767 entered that Saturday morning in the $1,000,000 Guarantee.

It will be close, probably won’t get that high but it’s good to have goals.
