Event 18: Level Up, Color Up

$1,650 Purple Chip Bounty No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 16:  Blinds 1,500/3,000/500 ante

The players have reached Level 16 and are taking a brief break to color up the 100 chips.

Aditya Prasetyo and Bradley Young lead the way with Aaron Massey closing in after taking away a large chunk of Ryan Van Sanford’s chips earlier in the level.  Sanford currently is hanging in as the short stack on the table.

Of course that term is relative as the chip average is currently around 73 big blinds.  With the players that deep, it could be a very long night for the final six.

McColgan: Jc9c
Young: 8d8s

McColgan got no help after the board ran out 3sTdKsAh7s ending his night in 8th place. McColgan takes home $3,019 for the 8th place finish.

$1,650 Purple Chip Bounty No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 14:  Blinds 1000/2000/300 ante

Despite most of the players being super-deep here in Event 18, the hits just keep on coming.

Wasim Assaf is the first to fall at the official final table. Assaf made the shove late here in Level 14 and was called by Ryan Van Sanford.

Assaf: JhTd
Van Sanford: AhQc

Assaf got no help on the 6s4c5s flop and was drawing dead after the Qh hit on the turn. He finishes in 9th place for $2,498 plus bounties collected.

Event 18: 10th Place – Pfizer Jordan

Level 14:  Blinds 1k/2k/300 ante

Pfizer Jordan
Pfizer Jordan

James Calderaro opened for 4,600 early, then Pfizer Jordan kicked it on up to 13,500 on his left.  Action folded to Bradley Young in the small blind, who made it 45k straight.

James folded, then Pfizer committed the last of his short-stack to the pot.  Of course Bradley called the small all-in with pocket Aces.  Pfizer held AK offsuit and was in a world of hurt.

The board fell J 7 5 5 Q and meant nothing for Pfizer.  He hit the rail in 10th place, earning $2,186.
