$25,400 High Roller Event (Re-Entry)
Level 21: 20,000/40,000/5,000 Ante

There was a dead button when Jason Mercier raised to 80,000. Ian O’Hara three-bet to 230,000 from the small blind and Sean Winter moved all-in for 1,350,000 in the big.

Mercier released his hand and O’Hara called with TdTs. Winter had two overs with KsQs but couldn’t hit either one as the board ran out 9s7d2h7sTh to get the final table heads up in a hurry. Sean Winter earned $245,500 for his third place finish.

$25,400 High Roller Event (Re-Entry)
Level 21: 20,000/40,000/5,000 Ante

Just two hands after Barry Hutter was sent out, Ankush Mandavia got unlucky against Jason Mercier.

Mercier shoved from the small blind ]Ah7h and Mandavia quickly called in the big blind with AcKs.

Everything was good for a Mandavia double on the 6s4h3s flop and Ad turn. Mercier had a gutshot after the flop but paired the 7c instead to send Mandavia out in 4th place for $186,200.

Level 21: 20,000/40,000/5,000 Ante

Barry Hutter was under ten big blinds coming back from break and put them all-in on the first hand. He was under the gun and Jason Mercier called in the cutoff with KsJs.

Hutter was ahead with Ah5h and stayed that way on the Qc4c4h flop. The Kd turn was unkind to Hutter and he was gone in 5th place after the 3h river. He picked up $141,900 while Mercier chipped up.

David “Doc” Sands moved all-in from the hijack for 570,000 and chip leader Ian O’Hara moved all-in from the button. The blinds released and Sands showed Ah8h against O’Hara’s AcQh.

A dominating hand that improved on the QcJh2s. The Jd was no help to Sands and he was drawing dead to 6th place and the first six-digit High Roller payout.

Mercier: KsKh
Sarin: QcJs

The Tc7s3s flop did not help Sarin but he picked up an open-ended straight draw on the 9c turn. The river Jc couldn’t save his tournament and Sarin was gone in 7th for $93,400.

Phil Laak never got much going at the High Roller final table other than vocally jousting with MC Phil Hellmuth. He took a shot for a double after action in front of him.

Sean Winter opened to 65,000 from UTG+1 and Jason Mercier called from the hijack. Phil Laak three-bet to 570,000 in the small blind and Ian O’Hara moved all-in.

Winter and Mercier released their hands and Laak called at risk with KdQs. O’Hara was looking good with AcAd and nothing changed on the Th7d2h flop. Laak paired the Kd turn but was gone after the 2c river.
