Duncker was in good shape for the double and improved on the Kc6c3c flop. The 6h turn had Miles counting out the double as the 2d hit the river.

Level 27: 40,000/80,000 with a 80,000 ante

Much like Ryan Gianquitti, TK Miles is taking the quiet road to the top of the counts. He picked up a nice pot after a Joshua Zur open to 160,000 and he called from the button along with Steve Duncker in the big blind.

All three players checked the 9d6d6c flop and Duncker bet 210,000 after the 8h turn. Zur and Miles called followed by the Th river. Duncker and Zur checked, Miles put out 550,000 and Duncker mucked.

Zur sat back for several minutes, counted out his stack a few times, and then folded to give Miles another nice pot.

TK Miles – 3,950,000 (49 bb)
Steve Duncker – 1,600,000 (20 bb)
Joshua Zur – 1,800,000 (23 bb)

Ryan Gianquitti

Steady and quietly, Ryan Gianquitti moved into the chip lead after the first break. No major hands, only a series of pots to move him up while the other stacks flattened out.

He sits with 3,700,000 after 30 minutes of the new level while Joshua Zur is the latest short stack.

Event 4: Steve Duncker Doubles Through Joshua Zur

Steve Duncker

Steve Duncker made another all in move, this time for 1,090,000 and Joshua Zur called. The rest of the table folded and they were flipping.

Duncker: AsKd
Zur: JsJh

Duncker needed help to stick around and the good news showed up on the Ks8c3c flop. The Kh turn and 2s river were no sweat and the short stack got his double.

Steve Duncker – 2,380,000 (30 bb)
Joshua Zur – 1,900,000 (24 bb)

Other than the TK Miles double up, there was little chip movement except for Steve Duncker putting in some three-bet shoves with his short stack that made it through.

Gianquitti folded and Miles moved all in for 1,580,000. Bolek shrugged and called for the first big showdown.

Miles: QdTd
Bolek: Jc8c

Bolek flopped top two and was ahead against Miles’ flush draw/gutshot draw. The 4d turn completed the flush for Miles and Bolek could not find a river boat when it finished 5h.

Cards are in the air for the extra day of the Main Event. And we had fireworks ride off the bat that turned into not so big of a deal.
