Players are back on the felt following a break.
The board says there are 317 entrants in this flight so far with registration still open until the start of the next level. Here’s how the numbers went for the first two flights:
Flight A: 261 entries*, 27 advanced
Flight B: 323 entries*, 36 advanced

Since Flight A halted early, Flight B had to stop at the same time. There were 36 players remaining in the flight and they have now bagged up their chips. They will return at 1pm Wednesday for Day 2.
Dinh Nguyen was the chip leader with 442,000.

Level 15: Blinds 1,500/3,000/500 ante
Cinda Goodale had jumped into the chip lead with almost 200k with 63 players remaining, but at the start of level 15, she has dropped back into the pack. Cinda is a local semi-professional poker player.
Flight B is down to only 40 players and will halt play with 14:48 remaining in this level, then bag up for the night.

End of Level 6: Blinds 150/300/25 ante
Players in Flight C are on a break at the end of level 6.
Just before the end of the level, three players were all-in pre-flop. Jorge Hernandez held AQ, seat 5 was ahead with pocket Kings, and seat 2 had pocket 7s.
The board ran out A T T 6 3 and Jorge caught an Ace to triple up. Seat 5 won a small side pot, and seat 2 was left short-stacked, but no one busted out.
Jorge chipped up to just over 20k, back where he started. He owns a mechanic shop and lives here in Hollywood, but is originally from Cuba. He’s been in the US for about 20 years.

Level 5: Blinds 150/300/25 ante
On the turn, the board read 
and the player in seat 2 fired 2,200. Joe Williams (Benton City, FL) tossed all his chips in, totaling 5,500.
“Is this a re-buy?” asked his opponent. The dealer informed him it is re-entry, not re-buy, and he can re-enter until the start of level 10.
After about a minute, the player called all-in and showed 
for top/top. Joe rolled over 
for the straight and a lock on the hand.
The river was a useless 
and seat 2 headed for the registration desk. Joe chipped up to about 15k.

Level 13: Blinds 1,000/2,000/300 ante
Before the blinds went up, Martin Carnero (Davey, FL) had an opponent shove on him with a flop of K J 3. Martin made the call with ease, showing pocket Kings for top set.
His opponent was in bad shape holding pocket 3s for bottom set. When the case 3 did not appear on the turn or river, Martin dragged the pot, chipping up to about 105k, and his opponent hit the rail.
“Thanks to my buddy down there, Michael Ortiz, for teaching me how to do that,” quipped Martin.

Level 12: 800/1.6k/200 ante
Registration closed for Flight 1B and the totals come to 323 entrants adding to the 261 from 1A. There are 72 players left as they continue the trend of hitting the rail in a hurry. They will stop with 15 minutes remaining in Level 15 with the survivors moving to Day 2 on Wednesday.

Level 1: Blinds 25/50
The third of six starting flights, Flight C, is underway here in the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Ballroom.
Players begin with 12,000 chips and 20-minute levels, switching up to 30-minutes from Level 10 through 16. The tournament has a $150,000 guarantee on the total prize pool.
Late registration and re-entry are available until the start of level 10 (about 10:15pm).
The are three more flights on tap for Tuesday at 11am, 3pm, and 7pm. Players who bust out or surrender their chips can enter any subsequent flight as long as registration is still open.
