WPT Alpha8: Level 4 Report

The field size at the World Poker Tour Alpha8 super high roller event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open has settled in at 14 players during Level 4. Registration has been extended to 8 p.m. ET and we will probably get a few more late arrivals during that time, including Matt Glantz, who recently busted in 52nd place at the SHRPO $10 Million Guaranteed Main Event.

Tom Hall has taken over the role of chip leader with 165,000 after Steve Silverman lost quite a few chips now has about a starting stack of 100,000. Jason Mercier continues to cruise near the top with 160,000 in front of him. Daniel Alaei has indeed survived for now and he has built back up to 25,000.

The players are currently on break and when they return Table 89 will be moved over to the featured table stage.
