David Prociak opened for 42,000 and Daren Stabinksi announced “pot” in the small blind for 138,000. Jon Borenstein quickly released and the flop came ThTs9s. Stabinski checked, Prociak bet 40,000 and Stabinski called to the 8s turn.

Both players checked, the river was Tc, and Stabinski checked. Prociak said “all in” and Stabinski had a decision for his last 180,000.

After a few minutes, Stabinski tossed in a chip to call and they tabled their hands.

Stabinski’s full house was second best to Prociak’s quads to send him out in fourth place.

Event 8 of the World Series of Poker Circuit at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino boasts the third largest buy-in of the series — $1,125. Behind only the $3,250 High Roller and the $1,675 Main Event, Event 8 boasts 15,000 starting chips and will see its players log 40-minute levels to start with play jumping to 60 minutes late in the structure. In addition, there is a single re-entry permitted.

The flop laid Td9d8d. Seminole Hard Rock Tampa ambassador Wally Maddah was in the big blind and shoved for 60,000. Daren Stabinski called in middle position sending the action to Matt Kaplan on the button. Kaplan shoved for 123,000 more and Stabinski had a decision on his hands. After some time in the tank, Stabinski folded and Maddah was at risk against Kaplan.

Wednesday’s 11am $365 No Limit Hold’em Freeze-Out tournament drew 141 entries generating a total prize pool of $42,300. The top 15 finishers are set to earn a piece with a min-cash awarding $714. Payouts escalate from there and top out in the form of an $11,844 first prize. In addition, the winner earns a WSOP Circuit gold ring.

Event 5 champion Jeffrey Higgins

Jeffrey Higgins opened the button for a raise to 50,000. Austin Reilly called and the pair saw a flop of AdJd8s. Reilly checked. Higgins continued for 85,000 and Reilly shoved roughly 350,000. Higgins called and was in position for the title.

Higgins improved to aces-full winning the title in dramatic fashion. Reilly was eliminated in second place earning $7,959. Higgins, meanwhile, snagged the $12,877 top prize along with the World Series of Poker Circuit gold ring.
