It’s time for the second day of opening flights for Event 1 and it will be a big day if it’s anything like yesterday. The ballroom saw it’s first poker action since August and players came out in big numbers for the first two flights. They combined for 749 entrants across 1A and 1B to put us on pace to well exceed the $500,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Of those 749 entrants, 150 of them made it to the end of the flight and will return on Sunday for Day 2. David Maddox is the early leader in the clubhouse with better than 150,000 more than Michael Ferneman in second. But there is a long way to go with four more flights.

Flight 1C is about to kick off as players take their seat and wait for the daily reading of the rules. They begin with 20,000 stacks and play 30-minute levels throughout the day. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are open until the start of Level 9, approximately 3:30PM, and play will conclude at the end of Level 14. Anyone who makes it that far will return on Sunday and play down to a winner.

It will be a fun, busy day in the ballroom as we roll into the first weekend of the Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open”.
