The old saying is that the third time is the charm, but for Nicholas Cookendorfer, he’s hoping it’s the fourth. Cookendorfer already has a seat waiting for him on Day 2 of this event and earned an extra $5,000 in cash after finishing two other flights.

His bags, however, are not that heavy. In all three flights he survived, he bagged less than 30,000. As of this moment, he is taking a 28,000-chip stack to Day 2.

Through the first 10 levels of Day 1H, Cookendorfer seems to be reversing that trend. He’s sitting with 78,000 near the end of the level and looks primed to finish with his biggest stack yet.

There are four other people that bagged three times in this event, but Cookendorfer could be the only one to bag four times and take home an extra $7,500 if he finishes the final flight of this event.
