Big-time Jason Mercier is starting to put a move on the High Roller event and now owns the chip lead.

The hand that sent him up top started with him min-raising from UTG+1 and Sands called in middle position to the flop. Mericer led out for 42,000 and Sands called again before the turn.

Mercier fired another 117,000 and it received another call from Sands to the river which they both checked. Mercier tabled top two to take the big pot.
