May Deep Stack Poker Series in Review

Cosmin Joldis, Deepest Stack Champion

After a year off, the May Deep Stack Poker Series made a return to the Poker Room with eight tournaments featuring more than $500,000 in guarantees. It was a successful series by any measure with thousands of players and $1.38 million awarded over the 12-day series.

Cosmin Joldis won the headliner, a $1,700 buy-in Deepest Stack tournament, and earned more than $120K for this title. Hector Pacheco opened the series with a trophy, Raminder Singh added another Hollywood title, and Angelo Castaldi won 25% of the events on the schedule (Events 4 and 7).
