The $600 Deeper Stack tournament is the next event on deck and they get underway at 10 am with the first of two starting flights. Flight A run today with Flight B getting running on Tuesday.

Players start with 40,000 stacks and play 40-minutes levels on Day 1. They increase to 60 minutes on Day 2 and up to 90 starting with Level 23. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Day 2 on Wednesday at noon.

Flight A will continue into the evening and survivors at the end of Level 14 will bag their chips for Day 2.

Cards will go in the air at 10 am and we will pick up full coverage once Event 1 finds their champion.

Mohammed Tarkmani

The Triple Stack Turbo tournament drew 142 entries for the one-day tournament and it awarded the first trophy of the series. After the quick play was complete, Mohammed Tarkmani won the title outright for $4,763.

Those entries easily surpassed the $10,000 and put $17,040 in the prize pool with the last 18 spots getting paid. They quickly played into the money, down to the final table, and found their champ before too long.

This is not the first time Tarkmani won a Triple Stack title but it is the first one here. He won the Tuesday Triple Stack title in Tampa back in 2019, two weeks after he finished seventh in the opening event of the Poker Showdown for $42,891.
