The river card is the Qs, and they check again. Mezheritsky shows his 10h10d to win the pot, and Phillis mucks.

The flop comes 2s2d2c to give Phillis quad deuces. Phillis checks, Pfeifer bets 145,000, and Phillis calls.

The turn is the 8d, Phillis checks, Pfeifer bets 230,000, and Phillis thinks for a while before he min-check-raises to 460,000. Pfeifer calls.

The river card is the Ac, and Phillis tanks for a long time before he bets 635,000. Pfeifer folds, and Phillis takes the pot.

Event 22: Seth Davies Doubles

Seth Davies moved all-in from under the gun for 535,000 and Chris Hunichen moved in over the top. The rest of the table folded around and they tabled their hands.

Hunichen was ahead to knock out another player from the table and stayed that way on the Tc9c7c flop. Davies stay alive card came on the Ac turn and he doubled after the 6h river.

Hand #15  –  Randy Pfeifer raises from middle position to 135,000 with Ks9h, Larry Moccia reraises from the hijack to 400,000 with AsJd, and Pfeifer four-bets it to 1,025,000.

Moccia thinks for a bit before he moves all in for 2,400,000, and Pfeifer calls with his Ks9h. Moccia reveals his AsJd, and he needs his hand to hold to stay alive.

The board comes Qc5h3sJs5d, and Moccia wins the pot with a pair of jacks to double up to about 5 million in chips.

Event 22: Casey Yontz – 9th Place ($23,150)

Casey Yontz came into his Big 4 final table with the shortest stack of them all. He took an early shot with AdQs and ran straight into Chris Hunichen’s AsKs.

The held up the action to wait for the cameras before they finally saw the AcJh5d flop. Hunichen hit the Kc turn leaving Yontz with four outs on the river.

Yontz missed the 3s river and was the first gone from the Event 22 final table, out in 9th for $32,150.

Event 22: Two Double Ups Kick off the Day

Casey Yontz was all in on the big blind with 10s8c in the hole, and David Diaz has him covered holding Qs9s on the small blind. The board was dealt 9d7h2s5cJh and Yontz doubled up to survive with 455,000. Diaz was down to 430,000 after the hand.

A few hands later Fabrizio Gonzales raised to 80,000 UTG and Xuan Liu called on the hijack. Seth Davies reraised all-in on the big blind and Gonzales folded. Xuan called and they flipped over their cards. Xuan held 9c9d and Davies flipped over AhJh. The board ran out 10s6d5d6cAd and Davies doubled up to survive.
