The field of 325 entries has shrunk down to 135 players but the chip piles continue to grow.

We’ll see if these players can earn a couple of days off tonight before they head into Sunday’s Day 2.

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 7: 250/500/50 Ante

A number of Florida players struck gold at this year’s World Series of Poker and one of them is in the house today.

Sarasota’s own Barry Hutter had five cashes at the 2015 WSOP but none was bigger than his victory in the Event #14 Shootout to capture his first bracelet.  The $284,386 that came along with it was the biggest of his career and confirmed his place as one of top up-and-coming players in the game today.

Hutter stands at 37,000 chips and will look to add a Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open title this series to continue his spectacular summer.

Event 10 Day 1B: From A Trio To A Duo

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 7: 250/500/50 Ante

Willie Wiggins, Zach Kessler and Stewart Newman were all seated together on the far side of the ballroom creating a formidable force for the rest of their table.

But Kessler wasn’t faring as well as the other two and found himself all-in in a three-way pot. Kessler tried the stand-up move to get some help but it didn’t come leaving just an empty chair and a seat card in his wake as he headed for the door.

Apparently the two of them won’t be missing him much as Wiggins continued his massage and Newman went back to his phone.

295 entries are now on the board here in Day 1B.

Event 10 Day 1B: Back For More

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 4: 100/200

Some of the players who were in action yesterday have shown up again for tonight’s Day 1B.

WSOP bracelet winner Dan Heimiller was in Day 2 of Event 5 yesterday and is looking to make another Day 2 tonight.  Steven Graham finished ninth in Event 8 just missing the six-max final table.  And the one who is probably the most tired of them all is Lonnie Heimowitz who ended up as part of a five-way chop in Event 9 early this morning.

They’ll get a little rest for a while as Day 1B is now on break with 254 entrants so far.
