The money bubble lasted one hand and came in the form of a double elimination. One of the hands, though, resulted in a new chip leader emerging.

With the board reading , a series of raises led to the player on the button all in for about 570,000 with . Samuel Bernabeu, in the small blind, had him drawing dead with and secured the pot after the inconsequential river completed the board.

The board reads 271 players remaining now and the blinds have increased to 6,000/12,000 with a 1,000 ante.

The remaining 326 players have returned from their break to begin Level 20, with increased blinds of 5,000-10,000 and a 1,000 ante. The average chip stack is about 260,000 (26 big blinds).

The light purple T500 chips are being colored up prior to the start of Level 20 (5,000/10,000 with a 1,000 ante).

Chino Rheem is the chip leader with 1,137,000, while four other players have hit the 800,000 mark. When play resumes, we will have their names.

The $240 HORSE returned to action for Day 2 with 11 players remaining, and as the first break was beginning, Ralph Broderick was eliminated in ninth place during a hand of seven-card stud.

Level 18 (blinds 3,000/6,000 with a 500 ante) has just started. The board reads 480 players remaining and on top of the chip counts is Chino Rheem with just more than 800,000. The only other player in the room above the 500,000 mark is Tom Nguyen with 550,000. The average stack is about 176,000

Action is in the middle of Level 17 (2,500/5,000 blinds with a 400 ante) and 520 players remain from today’s starting field of about 816 players. The average stack is about 151,000 and at the break, we’ll take a look for the big stacks around the room.

Day 1 chip leader Pedro “Pete” Rios is holding steady with about 420,000, while a few others have crossed the 400K mark, including David “Chino” Rheem with about 440,000.
