Steele Sutter was the second shortest stack to start the day and moved in several times before finding a caller for a chance to double.

He moved all-in for his final 2.2 million with Ad2c and Brett Bader called in the big blind with JsJh.

The KsTh8s flop gave him no help and he was drawing dead on the Qs turn. Sutter did well to make it this far but was the next gone out, making $26,765 for his 7th place finish.

Event 5B: Day 1B Begins

The first Monday of the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open brings a fun, fast event. The $150 buy-in tournament allows re-entry through the first 9 levels and the action is sure be high while the registration desk is open.

The first flight has been playing for a few hours now, but action has just begun for Day 1B here in South Florida.

Players begin with 12,000 stacks and 20-minute levels, switching up to 30-minutes from Level 10 through 16. The tournament has a $150,000 guaranteed prizepool. There are six starting flights with three per day. Flight 1C will kick-off later tonight at 7pm.

The biggest buy-in event to date in the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open is underway and begins with hand-for-hand action on the money bubble. There are 19 players returning from the starting 114 and one of them will not make the money. The top 18 players get paid and they will play down to a winner today.

Victor Coleho has the lead but everyone has plenty of chips to make their moves. Min-cash for the tournament is $1,710 with the champion set to take home $34,200.

Michael Tufaro eventually showed up and last two hands before getting his chips in the middle.

“I thought it started at 3pm!”, was his explantion.

Raminder Singh opened for 425,000 and Tufaro came over the top for his final 1.1 million. Suied asked how much Singh was playing behind and shipped in to isolate. Singh folded and they tabled their cards.

Suied was dominating but had a small sweat after the JcJd8h flop. The turn and river were a harmless Ad3d and Tufaro was the first out today, picking up $18,131 for 8th place.

Marsha Wolak went on break with just over 8,000 in her stack but doubled that in a hurry. She was all-in versus fellow short stack Shawn Sorgi looking at a probably chop. Wolak tabled AhJh which was a micro-favorite against AcJs.

Wolak picked up a backdoor flush draw on the flop and then went running hearts to jump to 17,000.
