There are still a few ladies in this event as they’re down to the final two tables.  One of them is Dani Dayan (Miami, FL) who is playing with a little help from a friend.  Her Yorkie, Shemesh, is sweating her from his stylish travel bag.

Championship: Dan Colman Defeats Mike Leah

$5,300 Championship NLH $10 Million Guaranteed (Re-Entry)
Level 35: Blinds 150k/250k/50k ante

Once Colman took the commanding lead, it was just a few more hands before more fireworks. They were coming up on the next level jump and a 30-minute dinner break when Leah was at risk again.

Mike Leah opened to 600,000 from the button and Dan Colman three-bet to 1,500,000. Leah checked his cards before moving all-in for 11,650,000 total. Colman snap called with AhKd but Leah had two live cards QcJc.

Colman stood up for the runout while Leah leaned back in his seat, confident of a double.

The dealer was unkind to Leah as it ran out 4h3h2cTdKc to push all the chips towards Colman.

Leah was a popular favorite to win the Championship but it was Dan Colman continuing his fantastic 2014. Leah’s runner-up finish will pay him $1,047,638 while Colman picks up the top prize of $1,446,710 and the Championship.

CHAMPIONSHIP: Colman Works 9-5, Takes Strong Lead

$5,300 Championship NLH $10 Million Guaranteed (Re-Entry)
Level 35: Blinds 150k/250k/50k ante

On what could be a game changer in this championship heads-up match, Colman hits big.

With Leah on the button, he min-raised to 600,000 and Colman called.

The flop came Qh5h5d. Colman checked and Leah bet out 600,000. Colman then goes over the top to 1.6 million and Leah calls.

With a 3c on the turn, Colman bets 2.8 million and Leah calls.

After a 9s on the river, Colman quickly put in a bet of 6 million. Leah took some time to make a critical decision and finally maked the call.

Colman showed 9h5c for the full house and jumped into a huge chip lead here in this championship event for over $1.4 million.

Dan Colman: 34,850,000
Mike Leah: 10,150,000
