The river card was the 9d, Csik checked, Pfeifer bet 330,000, and Csik tanked for a couple of minutes before he folded. Pfeifer showed AcKc for a flopped club flush as he took the pot.

After a flop of 8c4h2h, William McKown bet from the small blind, Randy Pfeifer moved all in from the big blind, and McKown called with J-8 for a pair of eights. Pfeifer turned over Jh7h for a heart flush draw, and McKown needed his hand to hold to stay alive.

The turn was the Qd, the river was the Ah, and Pfeifer rivered a heart flush to win the pot and eliminate McKown from the tournament.

Travell Thomas was all in from the hijack for about 380,000 with 9s9c, and he needed his hand to hold to stay alive against the AdKc of Brannon Sawyer in the small blind.

The board came 7d4d3d6d2s — Sawyer turned an ace-high flush, but there was a still a miracle out for Thomas if the river card completed the straight flush on the board. It did not, and Thomas was eliminated in 22nd place.

Ari Engel was all in preflop for 5,000 and three other players came along to see the flop dealt AhAc5d for 60,000 a pop. The three players checked thru to the turn, which fell 6h, and then Rick Alvarado opened the action with a bet of 100,000 under the gun.

Michael Bittan and Vlad Mezheritsky both folded and the two remaining players revealed their hands. Engel held 9h4s and he was behind the AsJh of Alvarado. The river delivered the 7s and that was it for Engel, who was eliminated from the tournament. Alvarado stacked up 1.6 million after the hand.
