Adam Krach
Adam Krach

Last month, Adam Krach finished 24th in the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event for $269,430, and now he has a SHRPO cash on his resumé.

In what would be Krach’s final hand, Ruslan Dykshteyn opened for 180,000 from the hijack and Krach jammed the cutoff for 1.4 million. Action folded back to Dykshteyn and he snap-called.

Dykshteyn: AcAh
Krach: 9h9c

Krach’s rail called for a nine, but their request fell on deaf ears as the board ran out an unhelpful Qd7c4hJcJs.

Ruslan Dykshteyn – 4.5 million
Adam Krach – Eliminated in 6th Place

Championship: Hands #23-29

SHRPO $5 Million GTD Championship

Hand #26  –  Paul Balzano raised under the gun to 135,000, and Zo Karim called from the big blind. The flop came Jc10h2s, Karim checked, Balzano bet 175,000, and Karim quickly folded. Balzano took the pot.

The river card was the Qh, Valerstein bet 505,000, and Balzano tanked for nearly a minute before he called. Valerstein showed JsJh to win the pot with a full house, jacks full of kings, and Balzano mucked.

The flop fell KcKdQc and action was on Immekus. He folded and Heimiller earned the pot — but not before flashing a queen.

High Roller: Nick Petrangelo Doubles Through Ray Qartomy

$25,500 High Roller No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 23: 30,000/60,000 with a 10,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

Ray Qartomy opened to 120,000 under the gun, and Nick Petrangelo three-bet shoved for 870,000 on the button. Qartomy asked for the count, pondered for a minute or two, then called to put Petrangelo at risk.

Qartomy: 9cTc
Petrangelo: 9h9d

“You’re a sick man,” Dan Colman said to Qartomy after the showdown.

The board ran out 9s7c5d5h2s, and Petrangelo doubled up with nines full. Qartomy is still the chipleader, but that loss took a significant bite out of his stack.

Nick Petrangelo – 1,890,000 (32 bb)
Ray Qartomy – 4,295,000 (72 bb)
