After Bradley Ruben doubled up in No-Limit Hold’em, Robert Mizrachi switched the game to Pot-Limit Omaha, and regained control of the momentum.

Mizrachi won a good-sized pot on a board of 10-9-4-5-5 when his-A-10-7-5 made a runner-runner full house. That gave Mizrachia  3-to-1 chip lead, and then he continued to pull in small pots to quickly take it to 5-to-1.

After a flop of , Ruben got it all in. Here were their hands.

Ruben needed to improve to stay alive, but the turn was the , the river was the , and Mizrachi won the pot — and a SHRPO trophy — with two pair, aces and nines.

Bradley Ruben finished as the runner-up, earning $10,800.

Robert Mizrachi opened up a chip lead over Bradley Ruben of more than 5.6-to-1 (much of it coming by a solid scoop in Omaha Hi-Lo), when the following hand went down.

In no-limit hold’em, Ruben got it all in preflop for 36,500 with against Mizrachi’s .

The board came , and the pocket threes held up for Ruben to win the pot and double up in chips. However, Mizrachi still has more than a 2.3-to-1 chip lead.

A big three-way hand developed near the end of Level 16 when the game was Big O (5-Card Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo). All three players built up a pot of 41,600, taking it to the river on a board of .

Robert Mizrachi pot-bet 41,600 from the small blind, and Bradley Ruben thought for a bit before folding the big blind. Then it was on Adam Friedman on the button, and he thought for a little while before he called.

Friedman had a nine-high club flush for the high, and an 8-6-4 for the low. But then Mizrachi said, “Nut, nut,” as he turned over his hand.

Mizrachi had an ace-high flush for the nut high, and an 8-6-3 for the nut low to scoop the entire pot and eliminate Friedman on the Money Bubble in third place. (After the hand, Ruben claimed that he folded a set of queens.)

Klein picked up an open-ended seven-high straight draw (and low draw) on fifth street, but couldn’t complete his straight or pick up a qualifying low — Klein had to settle for a pair of threes for his high.

Unfortunately for him, Friedman made a six-high straight on seventh street for a high and a low to scoop the entire pot and eliminate Klein in fifth place.

Robert Mizrachi finally put away Andrew Kelsall as he hit trip deuces and avoided Kelsall’s low draw in Big O to finally end his night.  And with that, play will end for the night on Level 15.

Robert Mizrachi will come back with a massive chip lead with more than double the stack of Adam Friedman who made a spirited comeback after being short stacked for much of the final table play tonight.  Our final six will return at 3 PM to close out Event 18.
