The first of three starting flights is off to a great start as it’s surpassed the number of entries in last year’s opener. There’s a slew of notables with Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Loni Harwood and WPT Champion Sam Panzica among them.
The clock shows 105 entries to this point with registration available until Day 2. A list of those who advance from Flight A will be posted after play concludes.
The clock has ticked up over the first three levels and is settled in at 52 entries as of now. The field is made up of some familiar faces, most notably defending champion Scott Heiligman and this week’s $360 deep stack winner Ben Lindemulder.
Today’s updates will primarily be of the $560 restart at 2pm. We will periodically take a look at what’s happening in the $1,650 as well as post the complete end of day chip counts after play wraps.
