We heard a little ruckus at Table 34 and got there in time to see the runout of a big hand. Pierrot Massenat was all in for 301,000 and Brett Bader was at risk for less with Julio Rodriguez having them both covered holding the dominating hand.
Bader: Massenat: Fernandez:
A tough spot for the two shortest stacks and neither caught up on the board to send both out. Massenat and Bader each picked up $1,339 as Fernandez moved back up the counts.

There was no slowing the tournament down even when they hit four tables. In the short amount of time after that, another nine players went out as the second break was hitting.
Tournament staff paused the break as the last 27 players redrew brand new seats at the last three tables.
Event 1 final table member Seth Gilson seems to be doing most of the heavy lifting. He went on break with 2,200,000 in his stack for the clear chip lead.

It took a while to get there but Event 3 finally hit the money bubble as the clock rolled into Level 19. They went into hand-for-hand action with 46 players remaining and 45 getting paid.
Like Event 1 before it, they only played one hand to make the money. Also like Event 1, they had a double knockout to chop a min-cash.
On one table, Christian Barrett moved all in for 44,000 and Haris Hadziabdic called to put him at risk. They then had to wait until the other five tables finished their action.
Nearby, Jorge Aristizabal also moved all in. His shove was for 69,000 and Dennis Rodriguez called to put another player at risk.
The other tables finished their hands and the all-ins were tabled. Barrett was ahead for the double with against and improved to a set on the flop. Hadziabdic had a gutshot Broadway draw that turned into an open-ended straight draw on the turn. The board finished and Barrett was sent out on the bubble.
The other hand was more straightforward. Aristizabal had two live, suited cards with against but could not connect on the board to also go out on the bubble.
Since players Barrett and Aristizabal were at separate tables, they chopped up 45th place money.
T-45th: Christian Barrett – $540 T-45th: Jorge Aristibazal – $540

The pace slowed with the money bubble on the horizon but they almost dropped two players at once. Joel Harwood opened to 19,000 and Charlemagne Benjamin moved all in for 64,000. Jeff Silverstein shoved over the top for 107,000 and action was back on Harwood.
“I don’t know what to do guys,” Harwood laughed. “I’m going to fold the winner.”
Harwood mucked face up and we saw the other hands. Benjamin was ahead with against but they chopped the pot when a straight came on the board. Harwood’s eight would have played for the higher straight.

There were fireworks soon after the first break and we have a new chip leader. As told by his tablemates, Chanpiseth Keam was heads-up with Dani Dayan when he flopped a set of queens against her flopped straight. Dayan got him all in on the turn and Keam rivered a full house to double into the lead.
That hand propelled Keam to the top of the counts with 990,000 heading towards the bubble.

The field is quickly dropping down towards the money bubble and it should hit pretty soon after the first break.
Seth Gilson is heading in the right direction to make a final table return trip. He finished fourth in Event 1 over a field of 1,029 entries. Gilson is up to 630,000 and in good shape for another deep run.

Dani Dayan was one of the 15 new entries at the start of Day 2 and she’s built on her 40,000 starting stack.
She was up to 75,000 and put those in the middle in what turned out to be a three-way monster pot. Dayan was in trouble with against and , only 8% preflop to stay in the game, but she smashed the flop.
Dayan made a boat on the turn and faded the case ace on the river to move up to 255,000.

He began the day with 465,500 but now sits with 870,000 as the field drops down to the last eight tables.
