At the completion of Day 1 in the $1,100 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max event, Evan Teitelbaum holds a sizable chip lead as the field heads to its second and final day.
Teitelbaum bagged 349,000 chips and his closest competitor is Charlemagne Benjamin with 270,000. The only other player to bag over 200,000 is Seminole Hard Rock Pro Michael Laake with 204,000.
Rounding out the top five counts are Dimitry Agrachov and Matthew Silva with 161,500 and 117,500 in chips, respectively.
Other notables to survive the day include Ory Hen, Ryan Van Sanford and Daniel Weinman.
The six-max event drew 122 players to the Hard Rock, but at the end of the day, only 12 players remained. The top 15 players earned a cash and the money bubble was popped late in the day.
The final 12 players are all guaranteed a cash of at least $3,077, but they all have their sights set on the trophy and the $30,188 that comes with it.
Play will resume at 2 p.m. on Monday afternoon to play down to a winner.
The big Six-Max tournament drew 122 entrants to create a prize pool of $118,340. The last 15 players will take home a piece of money with a min-cash worth $2,130 and the winner will take home $30,188.
$1,100 Six-Max No Limit Hold’em (Single Re-Entry) Level 10: 200/400/50 Ante Total Entries: 115
We took another opportunity to look in on the $1,100 Six Max across the hallway and found a couple players with a little history.
Neil Blumenfield is playing his final bullet in the single re-entry event and found himself seated with Joshua Beckley. The two of them made the 2015 WSOP Main Event final table and battled it out on live TV in November. Blumenfield finished third while Beckley lost heads up to run away champ Joe McKeehen.
They have 15 minutes left in this level before they take a 40-minute dinner break. The prize pool surpassed the $75,000 Guarantee and has climbed over $100,000 with an hour left to get in.
$1,100 Six-Max No Limit Hold’em (Single Re-Entry) Level 8: 200/400/50 Ante Total Entries: 112
We popped our head into the meeting room during the last break in Event 1 and found a solid field of locals and pros. November Niner Neil Blumenfield is in the house for the first time this series and he’s joined by Darryll Fish, Michael Laake, Stuart Paterson, David Diaz, Andre Crooks, Johnny Pappas, Ian O’Hara, Ory Hen, Brandon Byars, and Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year leader David Prociak.
They have another 90 minutes to play before going on a 40-minute dinner break. Registration will close when they resume and we’ll see who far Event 4 blasted over the $75,000 Guarantee.
$1,100 Six-Max No Limit Hold’em (Single Re-Entry) Level 3: 50/100 Total Entries: 70
Most people were concentrating on the Event 1 money bubble but there were others across the hall ready to play some Six-Max poker. With the ballroom packed to the seams earlier in the day, the $1,100 buy-in, short-handed Event 4 was set up in the meeting rooms on the other side of the hallway.
The tournament has a $75,000 guaranteed prize pool and a deep structure. Entrants begin with 12,000 in chips and play 30-minute levels until the 16th. They will switch over to 40-minute levels at that point and move up to 60 minutes at the final table.
Late registration is open until the start of Level 11 after their dinner break, around 9:10 this evening, and they can re-enter a singe time if they go bust. If one table remains at 3am, they have the option to play it out tonight or return tomorrow.

2016 Lucky Hearts Poker Open Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Event 4 $350 Eight-Handed Pot Limit Omaha (Re-Entry) Total Entries: 119 Prize Pool: $35,700 January 13, 2016
Hollywood, Fla. (January 14, 2016) – The first week of the 2016 Lucky Hearts Poker Open officially wrapped up with the conclusion of Event 4. The $350 Eight-Handed Pot Limit Omaha (Re-Entry) drew 119 entries and generated a prize pool of $35,700. After about 10 hours of play, a deal was reached between the final five players. The chip leader at the time was 35-year-old Bobby Bradley, giving him the official victory.
A former professional baseball player and first-round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Bradley has always enjoyed poker and the mental challenge it provides.
“It was the Chris Moneymaker effect in 2003. A lot of us would play cards in spring training and we all just loved it. It’s similar to pitching, where you try to set up your hitters and keep them uncomfortable,” Bradley told us afterward.
These days, Bradley splits time between playing poker and being a golf entertainer. Work commitments will keep him from playing more events this series, but a Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino regular since 2006, he’ll be back for other series, especially when Pot Limit Omaha is on the schedule.
“You don’t often see too many Omaha events being played, so once I saw this on the schedule I knew I wanted to come out here and play. Glad we had some fun and that I was able to chop it with the guys. They were good players, and at the end of the day the blinds were getting really big, so I could have lost my chip lead at any point to be honest. Felt like a good business deal and we all made some money and had some fun.”
$350 Eight-Handed Pot Limit Omaha (Re-Entry) Level 20: Blinds 5,000/10,000 Players Remaining: 5/119 Average Stack: 238,000 (24 bb)
The remaining five players have agreed to a deal with Bobby Bradley, as chip leader, earning the official victory. Here are the official numbers from the deal:
1st: Bobby Bradley (Wellington, FL) – $6,162 2nd: German Gomez (Houston, TX) – $5,000 3rd: Jeffrie Rine (Fort Lauderdale, FL) – $5,000 4th: Nicholas Aranda (Chicago, IL) – $5,000 5th: Mika Paasonen (Janakkala, Finland) – $5,000
A recap of the event will be posted later tonight.
$350 Eight-Handed Pot Limit Omaha (Re-Entry) Level 19: Blinds 4,000/8,000 Players Remaining: 5/119 Average Stack: 238,000 (30 bb)
Following the river of a board, German Gomez and Bobby Bradley exchanged a few bets and raises before Bradley was all in for 248,000. Gomez called, but Bradley tabled for the nut flush.
Gomez flashed for a flopped straight that became a king-high flush before he mucked.
