The Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open kicked off the new year at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood beginning January 12th. The 16-tournament series ran nearly two weeks concluding January 25th with the crowning of its final champions.

Among the series headliners was the $360 Ultimate Re-Entry opening event. The unique tournament drew 4,756 entries marking the second largest poker event in Florida state history. Earning the top spot along with a $250,000 prize was 2016 November Niner Jerry Wong.
Joining Wong as an LHPO champion was WPTDeepStacks Main Event winner Michael Graffeo. Graffeo, a recent Florida transplant, bested a field of 1,509 earning $290,687 along with a $3,000 WPTDeepStacks Championship package and an added $5,250 seat in next August’s Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship.
