The under-the-gun player limped for 2,000, Roni Zelichonok limped from UTG+1, and Sheldon Kahrim raised from the button to 8,000. The UTG player limp-shoved all in for 62,500, and Zelichonok folded.

Kahrim asked for an exact count and thought for a while before he called with AhQs.

The UTG player turned over 3d3c, needing his hand to hold to stay alive.

The board came KhJd4cKd10d, and Kharim rivered an ace-high straight to win the pot and eliminate his opponent from Flight A.

SHRPO Week 1 in Review

We are one week into the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open and it was a great start to the series. We ran 14 tournaments over seven days with 13 winners and some great accomplishments.

We only had 13 winners in 14 tournaments because Yuval Bronshtein came storming out of the gates. The WSOP bracelet winner won the first trophy of the series in the $400 Limit Omaha 8 tournament then followed that up two days later by taking the $400 Pot Limit Omaha title.

Joseph Rossi won the $400 Deep Stack NLH opener over a field of 3,730 entries to earn a top prize of $138,887. Well-accomplished poker pro T.K. Miles broke through in the huge $200 Big Stack tournament to win his first SHRP Hollywood title and Rebekah Emmons finished sixth in the $1,100 NLH tournament a few hours before she won $400 Pot Limit Omaha Event 9.

But the historic moment came late Wednesday night when Raminder Singh captured the $200 Double Green Chip Bounty. The win was his seventh major SHRP Hollywood title to tie him with David Prociak for the most in our history.

2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Event 14 Champion Raminder Singh

In total, the first 14 tournaments of the series combined to draw 7,777 entries and award nearly $2.275 million in prize money. That is a fantastic way to start the three-week series and we look forward to the next two.
