The remaining six players in the $560 Deeper Stack tournament are in their seats for the third and final day of play. Yesterday’s action stretched deep into the morning hours before the 3 a.m. hard stop hit and it was James Salmon who slept on the overnight chip lead with a stack of 5,900,000 good for 118 big blinds.

Beginning the day to Salmon’s right is Yoram Lehavot. Sitting on 2,170,000, he’s fourth in the counts, but is in the midst of his second Deep Stack Series final table appearance. He’s already improved on his first — a 7th-place finish in the $350 opener — and hopes to put an exclamation point at the end of his series with a victory today.

Salmon’s stack now totals 3,745,000.
