Level 8 at the World Poker Tour Alpha8 $100,000 super high roller event at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open saw the exit of Chris Klodnicki in 15th place. On his final hand Klodnicki shoved all in with pocket queens against Jeff Gross, who called him down with As Kc in the hole on a board reading Kh 5d 3c 5c 4h. Klodnicki was eliminated on the hand and Gross grew his stack to 177,000.

Jason Mercier continues to put on an impressive display of consistency as the chip leader with 343,000 but JC Tran is getting pretty close to catching up with him. Tran holds 336,000. The short stacks are Matt Glantz (42,500)  and Daniel Perper (55,000).
